  14. Firstly, please restrict the lines in your news postings to 76 characters
  15. or so.  More than that is a pain.
  16.
  17. In article <2137cc$113b28.182@news.hampshire.edu>
  18. ejpF95@hamp.hampshire.edu (Pinkey) writes:
  19. > The I-Card freezes up my Amiga totally unprovoked...at the most random
  20. > times.  I have narrowed the problem down to the sana-II driver.  I have
  21. > used AmiTCP with SLIP, CSLIP, and PPP and have never had this problem.
  22. > So I figured out that the problem resides in the SANA-II driver.
  23.
  24. We have an ICard that freezes A1200's randomly also.  We are using Envoy
  25. rather than TCP/IP, so it looks like it is down to either the ICard
  26. driver, or a hardware problem with the ICard/A1200's.  I have tried a
  27. number of A1200's (5 or 6), including some brand new ones from Amiga
  28. Technologies, and all have hung randomly at some point with the ICard
  29. active.
  30.
  31. > I called Interworks technical support and the person told me that they
  32. > would not test their product under AmiTCP because "Its (AmiTCP) too
  33. > flakey)."  This really frustrated me because I have done my research on
  34.
  35. We see the exact same problem as you while running Envoy, so I don't
  36. believe it is AmiTCP.
  37.
  38. > If anyone has the email address of interworks Technical Support, please
  39. > email it to me...I'd greatly appreciate it.
  40.
  41. Here is the Interworks contact info I have.  This is from some time
  42. ago so someone please correct me if anything has changed.
